Twin Towers Movie

Last night I saw Oliver Stone’s controversial Twin Towers movie. And given the events yesterday I have also spent a lot of time reflecting on the state of society. It saddens me that we need to be ever vigilent and always on the cutting edge with regards to things that could possibly be used to kill us by a few groups determined to do just that.

With every bottle of contact solution or every container of hand lotion now not allowed on airplanes, another piece of our freedom is gone. 911 has changed us and our children forever. Maybe for better, maybe for worse. But a real, definitive, permanent change.

yep, just when you thought it was annoying to get your nail clippers or favorite lighter taken away at the gate, they’ll now strip you of your shampoo and hair gel. pretty soon we’ll be shuffling thru the detectors nude. sad, but such is life in these times.
