Monday, June 26th, 2006 Posted: 4:42 PM EST (16:42 GMT)

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (AP) — Will Smith, the famous actor and musican, has died late Sunday night in his home town of Philadelphia.

Smith, 37, was killed in a car accident late in the evening. Smith was stuck by a taxi cab while speaking with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. The cab was speeding and came onto the sidewalk, striking Smith and throwing him face first against the windshield. Smith was killed instantly.

One eyewitness who will remain nameless stated “The last thing he saw was the dice on the mirror”.

“This is a long sad day for us.” Wayne Phillips, Philadelphia chief of police, said.

Will Smith was the second of four children of Caroline and Willard Smith Sr. He grew up in middle class West Philadelphia and got the nickname ‘Prince’ because of the way he could charm his way out of trouble. Pursuing music, he met Jeff Townes at a party and they soon began performing together as DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. After his music sales stated to slide Will began an acting career on the hit TV Show “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Will basically played himself; a street-smart West Philly kid transplanted to Beverly Hills. The series lasted 6 years. During that time, he ventured into movies where the critics took note of him. In 1996 he had a huge hit with the Blockbuster Independence Day where he played the alien-battling Marine Corps Captain Steven Hiller.

The accident was a hit and run and the perpetrator is still at large. According to eyewitnesses the license plate on the vehicle said “FRESH”.

Phillips said, “It’s a really sad moment for us.”

I know, dude. I was hoping that would help people spot the fakeness of the story. Since people are the dumb sometimes.

I’m in class typing this letter. I am a student at job core. I know that Will Smith never read this letter. But for the person that does I am a huge fan of Will Smith. As a matter of fact I’m listening to Men In Black as I type. I understand what will was trying to do on having some type a fake letter of death. But for an extreme fan like me it hit me way to hard my heart dropped and my brain exploded with sadness. I only believe what I hear the artist say out of his own mouth. Take Michael Jackson for instance that man is my favorite singer despite all the crap that people say he’s gay, a child molester, wacko jacko at this point because his brother Jermaine said that he says his brother only won because Michael can only afford good lawyers. On the other hand I know Wull Smith isn’t dead because of all the movies he had coming out. You know movie premiers all that good stuff. And I just know he had a new album in mind. This message by suzanne is not funny or humorous at all I get the point but just can’t believe how messed up I will be until I find out if this is true or not. I hope and pray that it is not. If any one reads this of importance. Just know that the only person that can make me believe that Will Smith is dead is Will Smith. Will Smith will have to go on T.V. and tell the world why he did what he did. My name is Aaron Oliver Nelson Coleman I am 19 years old and my passion and dream job is to be a actor/film director. I have every album will smith ever did and movie. Will Smith is my favorite rapper, comedian, and actor. Every two year it seams like someone close to my heart dies and now I hope and pray that its not the only pperson that could give inspiration and hope for abetter life. My life will never be the same again if Will Smith has died at the age of 37 at 4:42 pm. This is my poetry website Farewell and good night

Will is not dead. This piece does in fact require actual reading comprehension to pick up the joke. And there are jokes! More than one, even!

You’re all a bunch of wackos. It’s satire. Click the link! See for yourself! Calm the hell down, fanboys.
