Goodies Found on Yards Website
A while ago a friend told me about a great free tour she took at the Yards brewery in Kensington. It certainly sounded like a great weekend outing, so I went to the Yards website to find out more details. What I found was a great website for beer lovers! Not only can you find out information on the free tours (offered from noon - 3 p.m. on Saturdays), but also information on beer-related events in and around Philadelphia where Yards is represented, such as the Jenkintown Brew Fest in September (who knew such an event existed in Jenkintown??). My favorite feature was the listing of various watering holes around the city that have specials on Yards brews. A very useful, budget-friendly tool, methinks.
