In celebration of the seventh and final novel in the Harry Potter series, my discussion group Potterdelphia will be co-hosting an awesome and fun-filled release party this Friday at Big Blue Marble in Mount Airy. Food! Trivia! Costumes! And don’t forget the amazing wizard-rock band, The Marauders. Festivities start at 7pm and last until just past midnight—because really, who’s going to hang around when they can run home and read?

ooh, neat. i’ll be in line a mile or so north at the borders. that’s where i reserved our copies. had i known i would have gone down to mt. airy instead.
I’m not sure what the Borders plans are, but the band is scheduled to go on around 8:30pm, if you’d like to stop by to see them then nip back up to Borders.
