Most of the private pools around town have been open since Memorial Day Weekend, but the City of Philadelphia tends to wait a little longer to get their pools open to the public. The openings started officially on Monday and will continue through Wednesday, June 27th, at which point, all the local public pools will be open (except for the Herron and University City pools, which will be closed for repairs this summer).
