Bloomsday

There was a pub crawl tonight that kicked off the celebration of Bloomsday (the day that James Joyce’s Leopold Bloom spent walking around his city), but I didn’t get around to posting about it time for you to actually attend it, and I didn’t make it either, so I can’t do a round up of it, but it did happen. But, there is still time to catch the real festivities, tomorrow at the Rosenbach Museum. Local celebrities will be reading excerpts from the original manuscript (including Fergie of Fergie’s Pub and Marty Moss-Coane from WHYY) from 12 noon until 7 pm. If it rains, you can catch the readings at the First Unitarian Church at 2125 Chestnut Street.
