Suspense on the Banks (of the Schuylkill)

I just went out for an evening run along the Schuylkill River (did you see me? I was the one gasping for air) and saw the setup for the free “Suspense on the Banks!” Thursday night movie. Every other Thursday from tonight through August 23rd, they will be showing Hitchcock films starting at dusk (about 8:30). Tonight is Dial M for Murder.

The setup looks like a projector aimed at the side of a big white truck, and I’m assuming you bring your own chairs / blankets / food. They’re located just below Walnut Street, right across from the Schuylkill Banks River Tour boat.

I won’t be there tonight, but in two weeks they will be showing Rear Window. It’s one of my favorites, so hopefully I will be able to convince some friends to join me.
