Photo of the Day: Penn Museum and Franklin Field
I have not yet had a chance to go to the Penn Museum, located across from Penn’s Franklin Field, but this photo by odhusky makes me want to go check it out sometime. I love that long reflecting pool.

And while I’m there, I could check out their nearly daily events. I was surprised, looking it up online, to see how many events they hold there. There seems to be at least one every day. For example, this weekend there’s a $30 teacher workshop on Asian art, philosophies & religion, and a free public gallery tour of the museum’s collection of Etruscan/Roman funerary rites. These kinds of events sound like a great way to spend a few hours during the upcoming high heat of summer.
