Very special ice cubes

Iced Coffee with coffee iced cubes

Look at those iced cubes. Do you see anything special about them? Do they look a little funny to you?

I didn’t notice anything special about them at first, as I was drinking the iced coffee, but then as I got about halfway down the cup, I saw that they looked different than normal ice cubes. The first hint was that they had been made in regular ice cube trays. The second was that they were browner than typical ice cubes. And suddenly, I realized the genius that is the people at Anthony’s Coffee House in the Italian Market. They make ice cubes with coffee, so that when you get an iced coffee drink, it doesn’t water down. To me, this is a sign of a deep appreciation for coffee and the state of your drink from start to finish.

Anthony’s Coffee House folk, I salute your cleverness. I will be buying more iced coffees from you as the summer progresses!

I was just talking about something similar with a friend the other day! It’s great to see a coffee shop showing such fine appreciate for its own coffee and the satisfaction of its customers. I’ll have to stop over there and grab some iced coffee soon.
