Eagles Draft A Quarterback in First Pick

I am speechless. We actually traded away an earlier pick to get this Houston University QB.

    I think they read the op-ed in the inquirer today in which one of those writer cats remarked that he missed seeing silly pointless picks that the Eagles used to do. They were making him happy. Just him no one else.

    You ain’t kiddin’. The only reason you draft a QB this high is if you think he’s your QB of the future. It might be two or three years before he gets on the field, but that’s the only take that makes sense to me.

    Personally I think the Patriots snuck in and stole the Eagles’ lunch by drafting Meriweather.
