So Friday evening I put up a post about the monthly blogger meetup, encouraging all to attend. I’d like to apologize to anyone who actually came out, as there was no blogger meetup. Howard and I walked over there around 3:30 pm, and as we started to head in the back door, were stopped by the owner of the Ten Stone. He told us that there was a private party that day and that we couldn’t come in. So, no blogger meetup. Since we were a little late, we missed out on anyone who was there on time.

We then wandered around, trying to figure out a place to get something to eat, but discovered that 4 pm on a Saturday afternoon is a bad time to get food. Apparently many places close their kitchens between 4 and 5 pm, to give the staff some time to eat before the dinner rush. Having never worked in the restaurant industry, this was news to me. We finally ended up at Peking Chinese Restaurant, the only customers there while the family that runs the place sat around eating their dinner.

But please, if you missed out on the blogger meetup and are sad, do not be deterred. There will be another one next month!
