John Shaughnessy, the guy who’s organizing the summer concert series at the Old Pine Community Center on 4th & Lombard Streets, was worried earlier this week about the weather forecast. You see, the summer concert series, which is actually starting this Friday (in the spring, no less), is a set of outdoor shows at the OPCC’s amphitheater, and over the weekend, the weather reports were not looking good. Chilly weather, rain around the show date . . . . and you know how rain around a date 5 days in advance could easily change to rain on that date . . . .

Anyway, it looks like it’ll be on for Friday the thirteenth, so put it on your calendars because it’s gonna happen. On the card will be Marc Silver and Malone & McWilliams, with John Shaughnessy opening the evening with a short acoustic set.
