The Phillies won their first game of the season last night, an 8-2 victory over the Florida Marlins. Yay!? Zzzzzz!!! is more like it for me. This is the least excited I have been for baseball in a long time (and I don’t normally get very excited over the sport in the first place). My friends don’t seem that excited either. Maybe it has been the great promise of things over the last two years that just never came to fruition. Regardless, I’m just not interested. Is anyone else feeling a little apathetic towards the Phils this year?
