Sitting at my computer, putting off going to bed and declaring the weekend officially over, I caught a flash of light out of the corner of my eye. It looked suspiciously like lightening, but I couldn’t be sure. But it was quickly followed with a rumbling thunderbolt. Confirmation.

Thunderstorm season seems to have arrived. Summer can’t be far away now.

If anyone knows it’s summer, it’s our dog. Storms scare the heck out of her, and I had to go downstairs with her to a spot where her nervous scratching wouldn’t damage any of the furniture. Luckily she knows better than to scratch me as hard. About 45 minutes later her tranquilizer prescription kicked in, or the storm moved off, and she finally settled down.
