Half Price Panini

Walking home from the blogger meetup today (the Ten Stone was way more crowded that usual because of St. Paddy’s Day revelers) I felt a craving for a sandwich. Not just any run-of-the-mill sandwich.

I wanted a panini.

But I didn’t really want one enough to walk over two blocks to Di Bruno Bros (I know, very lazy of me). I was resigned to give up the quest for a grilled sandwich, when I found myself walking past Capogiro at the corner of 20th and Sansom. Glancing in I remembered that they also served paninis and so on the spur of the moment opened the door and headed in. I had my choice of four varieties which were all priced betwen $5 and $7. I made my choice, they threw it on the press and when he rang it up it came out at exactly half the price that I had expected to pay. I asked and he said that the sandwiches went half price after 4 pm. Just my kind of deal. It was an excellent panini to boot.
