Miscellanea Libri at Reading Terminal

Use the book

When I asked the bookseller at Reading Terminal Market if I could take pictures in her stall, she answered with a zen-like statement, saying “You do what you need to do.” So I did.

Although I have been away for a few years, I never met the female you speak of. I’m not sure if I understand the need for photos or the need to mention that comment, but different strokes for different folks, I guess.

I never in my life could describe the feeling and absolute conscience understanding I had one Friday afternoon. Bookman, as I referred to him, picked out several books for me along the same genre he noticed I chose, and also gave some influences above and beyond my reading at that point. Exposure is what I yearn for, as any should. I was honored to have his guidance. Books are to be respected and protected. I wish this was instilled and commanded from children. How arrogant society is becoming!

Anywho, 5 years away from Philadelphia, I must say that what i missed the most was Bookman. Now that I have a child, I would not dare go near due to the fact that I have not yet been able to effectively instill the significance and importance of books.

Bookman is a filter. Ignorance will laugh and point, denial will cause lack of acknowledgment, and those who are meant to, will find what they are looking for there.
