Photo of the Day: Spring on the Schuylkill River

In spite of the cold weather coming Friday and this weekend, I thought I’d share this tantalizing view of spring along the Schuylkill River, taken by kapkara last year in April.

I’m sure we are all looking forward to scenes like this in the near future!

What a great photo. The colors, the glistening sun off the oars…..just magnificent.
    Thank you for the moment.

I have no idea if the river was really that green. It’s not a funny neon green, so I think it could be natural green reflecting off of the trees, maybe with a bit of high saturation overall. I don’t know , but I kind of liked it! I guess, think of it as St. Paddy’s Day water?
