On Monday I had a meeting just outside of Philly, so I returned to the city by train. Having recently (successfully) defended my dissertation, I feel a bit like I have a new lease on life and I am really excited to finally have more time to explore the city. As as walked out of the train station, I felt like these doors offered me a visual metaphor of what feels like a new arrival to Philadelphia.
