Here they are
Yvette Spears, vocals. Needs no introduction, especially since I messed up in my first post.
Wycliffe Gordon, trombone. If you never thought you could hear a trombone sing, Wycliffe can change your mind.
Damian Sneed, organ and vocals. This guy was fun to listen to. Damian’s solo had us all smiling and clapping.
Eric Reed, piano. Sweet, beautiful, poetic. Eric’s solo that didn’t have a dry eye in the house.
Herman Burney, bass. Herman did a song that was a combination of Kumbaya and a gospel song, played slowly, with a bow, that left us mesmerized.
Alvin Atkinson, Jr., drums. Alvin’s drum solo was precussion storm.

Hey Matt…
The piano player, Eric Reed, is the same musician that played at the Prince in the Allan Harris show about Ellington and Strayhorn.
See my previous posts Lush Life and Songs from the Heart.
Wish I had been there to hear the gospel music.
