    Thank you very much for choosing my photo. I feel honored. I am drawn to photographing the inner city of Philadelphia and, despite the desolation and despair I constantly see, I often find great color, soul and beauty there. But this man broke my heart. I almost felt guilty taking it and posting it,but somehow it was so compelling I wanted people to see him. - - - Sally

    this reality probably wasn’t captured on film in this photo either. i could be wrong, but i’d assume it was digital, as most photos are today.
