City Moleskin for Philadelphia?

A while back, I heard the buzz on the blogs that Moleskin was creating a series of city-specific notebooks. As a lover of anything Moleskin (I am devoted to my 18 month calendar) I immediately checked to see if they would do a Philly one. Unfortunately, of the seven US cities that are getting books devoted to them in this first wave, our City of Brotherly Love is not one of them.

Apparently, I’m not the only one who feels like Philadelphia should be a Moleskin city. A recent post on Moleskinerie, a blog devoted to all things Moleskin, Morgaine Swann listed the top ten reasons why she thought that Philly should get their own book.

Her number one reason that we should have our own book is that “The food is amazing. There are certain things you can only get there, like cheese steaks and bags of soft pretzels, but the city also has some of the finest restaurants in the country.” She goes on to list a number of locations that deem of deserving of our own city Moleskin.

What do you think? Do you find Morgaine’s reasons convincing? Why should Philly get their own city Moleskin? Check out the continued Moleskinerie discussion (folks from other cities chime in here as well) on their Flickr site.
