Flyers News
I knoe, I know Flyers updates, news, etc…. have been secerly lacking from the site recently. I apologize. But can you really blame me there hasn’t been anything good to write about for this team, I mean we hold the lead for worst team in the league by 10 points. Anyway, while I don’t have anything good to update you on, I can tell you about the theme nights and giveways the Flyers will be holding over the course of the next month.
Upcoming this Saturday (2/10) the Flyers will be giving away Peter Forsberg mugs away to fans 14 and under. What the Flyers should really be giving away is Forsberg to another team.
On Monday the 12th it will be Keith Primeau night. That’s right every fan will receive a Keith Primeau poster and be subjected to highlights of the most overrated Flyers player in recent memory. Well OK maybe Mike Richards is more overrated.
On Thursday the 15th the team will be holding American Heart Association night and a percentage of the proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the AHAs cause. After this year of watching the Flyers the AHA will have alot more people that need help so it is quite nice to see that the Flyers are being proactive in this cause.
On Monday the 19th the Flyers will be having Dollar Dog night. This is great for people that can’t afford to feed themselves at a normal Flyers game because hot dogs cost about $25.
Finally on Saturday the 24th the club will be hosting 80s night and league trading card night. Join the Flyers as they attempt to turn back the clock to when they were good. Oh and the first 7000 fans will receive an NHL league trading card set featuring four Flyers (four too many if you ask me).
So join the Flyers for these great events or just stay at home and watch something that doesn’t suck.
