National Delurking Week
It’s recently come to my attention that we are smack dab in the middle of National Delurking Week. It’s a week when readers of blogs are invited to step out from behind the glowing blue screens of their computers and make themselves known to the other members of that blog’s community.

Hi! I’ve been lurking around here for a while, and I just posted a photo to the Flickr community yesterday, so I suppose it’s time to officially delurk.
I’m in grad school here in Philadelphia. I moved here about two and a half years ago, and I have to say I really love this city (it was love at first sight). I live in Queen Village, so I have a ton of shops, restaurants, and other places nearby. My favorite thing about Philly is the food, I have to say: the restaurant scene is so varied and fun. My only regret is that my grad school lifestyle doesn’t really allow me to take full advantage of what’s out there.
I’m not a lurker per-se….just linked to this via 2 other bloggers. I live in central Alaska with hairy husband and hairier cat. I ski to reach a state of satori and make art to drive myself crazy.
