You Go, Garcia

Did you by chance stay up to watch the Eagles game last night? I didn’t want to, but my husband kept checking the score and we were both sucked in. It’s not that I’m a fair weather fan, I just don’t want to see my team embarrassed. And embarrassed they were not. Like many Philadelphians I was impressed with Jeff Garcia’s performance. I must comment, however, on the crowd’s reaction when it seemed that Garcia was injured. The crowd booed him. The man was hurt, for the love of God! They quickly changed their tune and cheered him when he lead the team to victory. Maybe it’s that Philly attitude , but goodness gracious. Have some allegiance to your team.

I think a lot of people were disappointed that the team didn’t go with AJ Feeley instead, but I think the team made the right decision going with the All-Pro who has proved he can lead a team.

The Eagles are very lucky to have a backup quarterback with Garcia’s stock. And I’m hoping that it will play out the way I expect.

How do you see it playing out Brady? With the Eagles missing the playoffs again. At least I know my team stinks and have no delusions of granduer other than right before the season.
