Dan Savage Live

Please tell me that you are planning on seeing Dan Savage at the Trocadero on Tuesday. I can’t make it, so I need to live vicariously through you. If you don’t read his column each week in Philadelphia Weekly, you can make up for this fact by seeing a live version of his mixture of humor, vulgarity, and political awareness as part of a benefit for Philadelphians against Santorum. Savage famously changed the meaning of the word “santorum” in order to protest the conservative senator’s inflammatory statements about homosexuals. If you’re not familiar with what “santorum” now means…do an internet search to find out. And don’t do it at work. Disgusting, but fitting. So, here’s a chance to be entertained, hear some outrageous sex Q & A and become politically engaged. What better way to spend a Tuesday night?
