Vomitrocious

As I crossed Market on my regular trek from 30th Street Station to work I noticed something odd about one of the manhole covers. This was on the northwest corner of 31st, just in front of the trolley/el entrance. The usual dark metallic cover looked strangely pink. As I got closer I realized it was, indeed, a huge steaming chunky pile of vomit.

It occured to me that I should try to get a quick camera phone picture, but my stomach was already churning. I hurried along and hoped my breakfast would stay down.

Ah, city life. Such wonderful surprises!
