When my sister was about six years old, she loved Pee-Wee Herman with a passion. She watched his show every Saturday morning, had his doll that recited one of his keys phrases when the string was pulled, and was able to do a fairly accurate rendition of his signature laugh. I, despite my near-constant exposure, couldn’t stand him. This is why I’m not getting anywhere near the Troc tonight, where for Movie Monday they’ll be showing Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure. If my sister lived in Philly, she’d be there in a heart beat. Oh yeah, Johnny Goodtimes will be hosting the movie. The movie starts around 8 pm (with film-themed Quizzo kicking off at 7:30 pm) and the $3 cover charge goes towards food or drink.
