Power out - twice!

We had another round of seemingly random power outages yesterday in Chesnut Hill and the surrounding areas. I arrived home, excited to be there early, went to turn on a fan and…nothing. I called the management company who said PECO was on it but they had no idea when it would be back on. Afriad to open the fridge or freezer for dinner, I read a magazine and slept. It popped back on some time around 7:30, meaning we were out for about three hours. I ate the fish from the fridge anyway.

Then, just after I finished dinner it went out again! First the TV, then the lights dimmed to darkness. At this point I was severly annoyed, and even let a few choice words fly. I stumbled around, almost tripped over a cat three times, and went by candle light for another fifteen minutes or so.

This morning I checked the news for some kind of explanation. Nothing! Not even in the little local papers. I sent PECO an e-mail inquiry, which I’m sure they will respond to immediately (ha!).
