Broken Hipsters
Looking for something to do on Saturday, August 5th? You might want to check out the world premiere screening of the DVD of the “Broken Hipsters.” The promotional email that found it’s way to me says,
A recording of the final ‘04 Live Arts/Fringe fesitval performance of the Broken Hipsters, a rock opera about elderly punks, a young
photographer and their fight to free some giant babies. Join us and relive the magic. (insert jingles and sparkles here.) Come drunk, in costume and ready to sing along.
There will be live music and previews from the ‘06 Live Arts/Fringe, including Brat Productions, James Sugg, Kate Watson Wallace, Reactionaries, Milton and the Devils Party, Hero Pattern starting at 8 pm and at 11 pm the screening will begin. Tickets are $7 and the show is at The Cinema at Penn (formerly Cinemagic) 3925 Walnut Street. If you have any questions, email Jay.
