Pretend you like my type…
So you walk into your favorite bar or alcohol serving establishment. And you tell the bartender/waitress/wench that you want a Manhattan. That’s it. You say “Give me a Manhattan.” You are expecting a drink made with bourbon and vermouth. (Just standard fare since you didn’t ask for a specific brand or type.) They reappear at your table in a few minutes with your frosty cocktail.
How much would you pay for it?
I ask because I normally pay $6.50 for my Manhattans at the New Wave (3rd and Catherine) but I got charged $9(!!) at the Lyon’s Den at 2nd and Christian. I need to know if the New Wave is way under-priced for a neighborhood bar or if the Lyon’s Den is way over-priced for a neighborhood bar.
Help me out.

$9 for a Manhattan? My goodness.
While I’ve never actually ordered a Manhattan, that seems a little excessive to me.
$9 seems quite high. I mean, NYC is like $12, but that’s NYC. I would say $7 is about average. I think I paid $7 at Continental for a Manhatten – the house there is JD, btw.
