Philly’s own YouTube

NBC10 and Motionbox have partnered to create a video sharing service for the city, called (oddly enough) NBC10 Motionbox. They are hoping that people in the Philadelphia area will upload video of their summer experiences. Right now, from what I can tell, it looks mostly like a bunch of family trips to the zoo or the 4th of July Fireworks. But it could be cool.

The tip that came in about it said this:

The NBC10 Motionbox is not only a place where you can watch, upload and share videos but also a place for videos of, by and for the people of Philly! The NBC10 Motionbox theme is “Celebrate Summer,”and we’re looking forward to seeing everything from beach videos to ball games and bbqs, from Center City to the Shore to the Main Line. NBC10 will be picking their favorite videos to add to their Celebrate Summer Gallery on NBC10.com and for broadcast on NBC10, WCAU.

My only question is, what’s going to happen to the theme when summer’s over? Will it shift to “Celebrate Fall”?
