blurry world

i sat next to one of those windows today, the ones that make the world blurry. those who have taken septa regional rail know what i’m talking about. the windows are all scratched up and clouded. i felt as if there was something terribly wrong with my contact lenses every time i looked outside at the passing green fuzz.

ah well, at least i had a seat. that’s more than i can say for the evening trains! i just don’t have the heart to be rude (like everyone else) and cut in front of people to get on first and find an open seat.

I hate those windows. If I’m wearing my glasses when sitting next to one, I end up unconsciously taking my glasses off and wiping them, in the hopes that that will clear it up.
