The DaVinci Code: Part One

I’ve read the book and I plan on seeing the movie (Saturday 1:15PM) but I am pretty sure I can’t say the same about the people outside the theatre I went to tonight. Outside the entrance to the Oxford Valley Mall there was a good deal of people protesting the movie. Saying how the film was the devil’s work. I plan on going back tomorrow and taking some pictures and ask some questions if they are still there. Seriously there was a guy out there with a giant cross proclaiming the film evil. Anyone go and see the film tonight? Anyone run into any protesters?

None in Hawaii, but I have seen a few church signboards scheduling discussions about the Da Vinci Code. I’m curious to know what approach ministers are going to take but just not willing to wake up that early. I know, I suck.

I dunno why it’s such a big deal. It’s a book & a movie. If we were going to call every public blasphemy evidenced in the US we’d never get anything done.
