Consistency
It’s a simple word and it is what the Flyers will have to find before the regular season ends. Since returning from the Olympic break the Flyers have been one of the most inconsistent teams in the NHL. Granted there have been injuries to contend with, most notably Peter Forsberg and his oft-injured groin but this a team that had injury problems before the Olympics and was one of the best teams in the league. The Flyers have four games left and would almost be better off trying to move down a spot in the standings to avoid having to play the red-hot Buffalo Sabres in the first round of the playoffs. This team needs to find itself and they need to do it quickly because the regular season ends next Tuesday.
