Septa verses cab

This morning I was standing at 19th and Market, waiting to cross the street over to the west-bound trolley stop, when I witnessed an interesting thing. A Septa bus driver was stopped at the light, and had gotten out of his seat and was leaning out the door of the bus. He was gesturing and talking heatedly with the driver of the cab next to him. As each second passed, they were each becoming louder and more enraged, and I was a little worried that I soon going to be late for work, because I would witnessed a murder. Thankfully, the light changed, other vehicles started to honk and the driver went back to his seat and pulled away.

I am DEFINITELY going to think twice before I cut off a bus again.

I’d pull for the taxi driver in a fight.

Me too. The bus isn’t as maneuverable.

The bus driver was pretty irate and fairly scary. There’s something to be said for the bulk of a bus.
