Ted’s Montana Grill

So the girlfriend and I had Ted’s Montana Grill to eat for dinner a few weeks ago…

My friends warned me it was greasy. Really greasy. But I ignored them and it’s only 2 blocks from me so I decided it’d be a good idea to go one night for a burger. We went and split a little salad which was priced very cheap. I ordered some burger with bacon, onions, and cheddar (the epitome of death) and my girlfriend got an avacado burger. I took a bite into my burger and it was really greasy, but good. However, 2 bites in I looked at the heaping mess known as my cheeseburger and gave it a big squeeze.

I’d say about 1 CUP of grease came out onto my plate. No joke. I finished the burger but after that just felt really full and nasty. Plus whenever you walk by Ted’s, you smell the grease outside on Spruce St. My girlfriend said her burger was good, but too greasy. Grease seemed to be the general consensus.

Overall, give it a shot and don’t go for something outrageous as my burger. We won’t be going back again but that’s something I’d rather have you try and decide first.

I went to Ted’s last night. I had the veggie burger, and it was fine–the trick to remember when you order it is to ask that your bun not be “floated,” which means, not with the standard buttered bun.
