I am not a big basketball fan and while I normally get into college ball around this time of year, this year I find my interest completely lacking. In any case, Villanova defeated Monmouth today 58-45 at the Wachovia Center on this wonderful St. Patrick’s day (I’ll get ripped if I call it St. Patty’s day). Despite the win I am still not crazy about the tournament, I’m avoiding the city tonight because of it (giant influx of out of town college kids not exactly my cup of tea). Although in doing the short amount of research I did to write this I have come across the fact that Yahoo! has picked Villanova to win the tournament which I at least find some minor pleasure in it. If the Wildcats make it to the Sweet Sixteen I will want to jump on the bandwagon but until then I was just wondering if anyone else has gotten March Mad?
