Free agency is heating up and the Eagles have made a pair of moves today. Replacing Mike McMahon as the backup to Donovan McNabb will be Jeff Garcia. Garcia is a huge upgrade over McMahon whom only completed 45% of his passes last season starting in place of the injured McNabb. Replacing Terrell Owens (snicker) is Jabar Gaffney whom caught 55 passes for 492 yards last season. Gaffney is the cousin of Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard. Gaffney will most likely fill in as the number three receiver behind Reggie Brown and Todd Pinkston. Garcia and Owens played together in San Francisco; where Owens made frequent comments about his ability as a quarterback (sound familiar?), eventually leading to Owens having to leave the organization (and join the Eagles). And nobody saw this coming?
