Philadelphia blogger and photographer, Albert Yee (aka Dragonballyee) is doing it. He’s putting his whole self where his mouth has been for a very long time, and running for Committeeperson (Ward 5 Division 8).

He says,

I’m running for committee person in Ward 5 Division 8 which is a rectangle of a division. From 12th St to 9th St from Pine St to South St. I’m going to be collecting signatures through the weekend. I’m getting involved in petitioning on the late side, but better late than never. If anyone lives in this area or if anyone knows anyone who lives in this area, please let me know and let them know. All I need is ten signatures, but I’d like twenty-five to be safe. Who can sign? Registered Democrats living in that area, that’s it.

So, if you live in the district and are a registered Dem, keep your eyes out for Albert this weekend.
