Preview: Flyers at New Jersey

The Flyers return from the Olympic Break today taking on the New Jersey Devils. The Flyers will be without star winger Simon Gagne who suffered a bone bruise at the Turin Games. They will also be without Captain Keith Primeau whom announced that he would sit out the rest of the season due to concussion symptoms. On the upside Peter Forsberg will be back in the lineup after playing in Turin, he piled up six assists in six games. Coach Ken Hitchcock has said that Robert Esche will be the starting goaltender, possibly putting to rest the goaltending controversy that has been brewing. His choice of Esche is a perplexing on as Niitymaki has been the better goaltender on the team this year and is coming off an outstanding performance in the Turin games where he won a silver medal.

Game time is 7:30 and the game can be caught on TV on Comcast Sports Net or on the radio on 610 WIP.
