Upscale noodle bar coming to 1904 Chestnut St.

I just attended a meeting for residents of the block of 1900 Chestnut Street, to hear about the restaurant that is being planned to take over the space that, until they closed last summer, Little Pete’s used to occupy. After a $1 million renovation, an asian-fusion eatery will replace the diner atmosphere that was Little Pete’s. The owners of the Old City restaurant Red Sky are behind this transformation, along with some new partners. They are planning on being pricey, with dining areas and bars on both floors. They unequivocally swore that it would not turn into a night or dance club after eating hours, like some of the other bar/restaurants in the area.

It’s really going to change the face of Chestnut Street.

I’ve never been to Red Sky, is the food not good there? They went on and on at the meeting about how terrific their food was.
