Clean Sweep Candidate

I got home tonight from work, to a note waiting at the desk from one of my neighbors. She wrote:

My friend Larry Farnese is hoping to run for democratic state representative. He’ll be in the community room tomorrow night at 7 pm to answer any questions. Please stop by to meet him if you have a minute (and feel free to bring a friend!)

I did a google search on Larry and found out that he is hoping to run for the seat that Babette Josephs has held since 1985, in the clean sweep campaign that was started in response to the pay raise that was snuck through last fall. I think I’ll go tomorrow night, if even just for a few minutes, to see what he’s all about. I’ll report back tomorrow.

*I just saw a Babette Josephs commercial on tv, it was filmed in the community room of my apartment building, the very same place that Larry is holding his meeting tomorrow night. The world is a small, strange place.
