Flyers Look to Break Slump

With bad news consistently surrounding the team, the Flyers will try to break out of their slump tonight against the New York Islanders at the Wachovia Center. Peter Forsberg will once again miss the game after re-aggravating his groin injury yesterday and an announcement on Keith Primeau missing the rest of the season is expected soon. The Flyers will also be without defenseman Kim Johnnson and forward Branko Radivojevic for tonight’s game.

The Flyers have a chance to jump back into first place with a win tonight and a New York Ranger loss. The Rangers play Ottawa at Madison Square Garden at 7PM as well. Robert Esche will be the starting goaltender tonight. The game can be seen on Comcast Sports Net or listened to on 610 WIP at 7PM.
