1st Place on the Line for Flyers Today
The Flyers have been playing like crap recently, 3-5-2 in their last ten games, and have allowed the New York Rangers to close the gap between the two teams in the standings. So today when the Rangers come to town first place will be on the line. The Flyers beat the Rangers in overtime the last two times they have played. Peter Forsberg will once again be out of the lineup, nursing his ailing groin. He could return by next Wednesday.
Petr Nedved will be expected to fill in for Forsberg once again. Nedved has played well since being acquired from the Phoenix Coyotes last month but he doesn’t provide the punch that Forsberg does on offense so some of the younger Flyers will be expected to step up again. Defenseman Kim Johnnson will most likely miss the game as well.
The game is at 5PM and can be heard on 610 WIP or seen on UPN 57.

The Flyers suck.
LETS GO RANGERS!
