McNabb Speaks

I saw snippets of McNabb’s interview with ESPN on wednesday where he answered many questions about last season and T.O. I read a few articles that summed up the interview, and what I came away with was “Why is Donovan bringing this up now”

The spin from the interviews and the block quote headlines all read “Black on Black” crime, or that McNabb takes shots at team, and it paints him as a whiner at best. This is unfortunate as the actual interview, which I read on ESPN, is an in depth look at what happened according to Donovan. He’s a respectful guy, who cares, and who seems to know what it going on. He’s not taking shots, he’s just talking about it, in a very educated way. Before you read the headlines and create an opinion, please read the interview.

He talks about what he thinks started the Owens controversy, his thoughts about the team, and how difficult last season was. It’s a great read and I came away with a lot of respect for the man. I am excited for next season!

    Wow Ian,

I think it’s amazing that you could read that piece and walk away with a lot of respect for the man. I was planning on writing something later today or tonight about it, but it really pissed me off.

See that everybody!?! Ian and I DO disagree sometimes!!!
