Flyers Head to Pittsburgh

The Flyers head to Pittsburgh to take on the hapless Penguins but with the Flyers mired in a four game losing streak they know not to take Pittsburgh lightly. The Flyers should get Robert Esche and Joni Pitkanen back today while possibly getting to see center Petr Nedved debut for the team. Nedved was acquired yesterday from Phoenix in exchange for defenseman Dennis Seidenberg.
Esche will start in net for the Flyers giving Antero Niitymaki a much needed rest. The Flyers will be without team points leader Peter Forsberg for the second straight game due to a groin pull. The team may also be without Kim Johnsson who may miss the game with concussion symptoms. Penguins forward Zigmund Palffy, who leads the team in assists, retired earlier this week leaving Sidney Crosby as the Pens lone go to guy.
