Eagles Allow Owens to Seek a Trade

In an effort to get something out of Terrell Owens the Eagles have allowed Owens’ agent Drew Rosenhaus permission to seek a trade for the receiver. It is unclear what teams would be willing to give up anything for Owens when it is quite clear that the Flyers will release him before the March 1st roster deadline. If the Eagles were not to cut him before March 1st the Eagles would owe him a $2.5 million signing bonus and a $5 million roster bonus making it highly unlikely the Eagles would keep him.
