Straw Poll

Question: does anyone still refer to Philly as “the City of Brotherly Love”? If so, who and in what contexts? Sincere? Ironic? Sleazy? Nostalgic?

I do have a reason for asking, but I’ll save that for later, in hopes of making a follow-up post summarizing the replies I get. (Hint hint)

I use it occasionaly but more so as a sarcastic term with people from out of the city.

I use it occasionally, but it is almost always in a sarcastic or facetious manner.
