Flyers set to Face Surging Sabres

Buffalo goaltender Martin Biron looks to win his 14th straight game tonight, as he will take on an injury plagued Philadelphia Flyers club. A Flyers club that has had to call up 16 AHL players from their farm team the Philadelphia Phantoms to fill in for players that have been injured this season. But somehow the Flyers continue to win.

The Flyers are now just two points out of first place in their division trailing the New York Rangers. The Rangers though have played three more games than the Flyers. Buffalo on the other hand has been surging forward recently to capture second place in their division and are now just three points behind their division leader and league leader, the Ottawa Senators.

Tonight Peter Forsberg will attempt to spark the Flyers offense while rookie goaltender Antero Niitymaki will attempt to stonewall a solid Sabres offense.
