The Philly Blogger Meetup Review

Yesterday afternoon, about fifteen bloggers from the area gathered at Fergie’s to hang out for a bit. It was my fourth blogger meet up, so I went, expecting to see mostly familiar faces. I was pretty surprised when I got there and realized that I only knew about a third of the crew sitting around the table. But I’m always up for meeting new people, so I pulled up a chair next to Michael from River Tyde and got myself a pint of grog.

The talk spanned multiple subjects at once, with the contingent who had originally come for the WordPress Meetup staying tech heavy.

About an hour in, Scott had everyone go around the table and introduce themselves, and when Duncan from Eschaton told us who he was, there was a short, shocked silence. It’s not everyday that we get such blogging bigshots round our Meetup table.

Check out Scott’s entry over at Philly Future for the complete list of bloggers who attended. Make sure to mark your calendars for the next Meetup on January 21st, 3 pm at Fergie’s.
